Book Description

Ace Chapman is a young American boy living in Paris with his mother. Despite being in one of the most famous cities in the world, Ace finds his life to be rather dull. That is, until the day he discovers a mythical golden statue in his mother's art museum that transforms the beholder into a werewolf. Within no time at all, a new world opens up before him. Ace discovers an underground village of werewolves, and learns that he is the only one who can cure them of the werewolf curse. Along the way, he learns that an ancient sorcerer named Melvin Incubar is searching for the statue in order to obtain its legendary power. Now, Ace must find a way to cope with his new life as a werewolf, as well as protect the statue before Incubar can find it and regain his power.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Boy Werewolf is a great treat, November 28, 2004
This review is from: The Boy Werewolf: Curse of the Golden Statue (Paperback)
This novel was one of the best I have ever read. Imaginative, refreshing, and sexy. Colin J. Liotta is one of the greatest writers of his age and time, and I cannot wait until the he completes the rest of "The Boy Werewolf" series. Runteldat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Colin Liotta is the new J.K. Rowling, December 1, 2004
This review is from: The Boy Werewolf: Curse of the Golden Statue (Paperback)
If you enjoyed Harry Potter or have any interest at all in boys or werewolves, you will love this book. The prose? ARTFUL. The plot? DELICIOUS. The imagery? AMAZING. This writer really knows his stuff. As he matures we can only expect greater things from him. My only complaint was the shipping time...8-11 business days...who can wait that long? While I waited, each day I made a mark on my wall to signify the passing of time. Finally after 15 marks (I sadly did not spring for air shipping) the book arrived! One of the top moments in my life. Please read this book. Liotta is a star in the making! You will not be disappointed like you would if you bought some other crap book about werewolves. Frankly, even though werewolves are the theme, Liotta delves into far deeper thematic issues, such as the loneliness of childhood and the awkwardness of adolescence. As a person it is your duty to read this book, if you don't I must say you are less than human and it is perhaps you who is the monster. Good day sir.

When I decided to read the book, I didn't know what to expect. By the end of the story, I was a believer, what an amazing story.
