This review is from: The Boy Who Cried Wolf: A Retelling of Aesop's Fable (Read-It! Readers - Level Yellow C) (Paperback)
It is exactly what it says, a retelling of Aesop's fable, and you can't beat the price. Important lessons need to be learned, not avoided. If you want the traditional story, not some softened up "PC" version without impact, this will be fine. A bit of appropriate fear is ok for a child, at a practical level, especially with parents there reading & explaining the story & moral. Better than to be naive, and suffer more later because of true lack of understanding.
