Developing your child through storytelling,
By Mona Kuckuck "Ramona Kuckuck" (Germany) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Boy who Climbed the Mountain (Paperback)
This is a great way to bond with your child as you discuss the hopes and dreams of your child and help them map out ways to achieve them.
It's very rewarding for both the child and parent/teacher. The book is the tool that fosters discussion on setting goals and how to go about reaching them. It is a lovely tale that is inspiring for both the child and adult and has many valuable life lessons throughout it. The illustrations are unique and beautifully done and it opens your childs eyes to other cultures and worlds. Even though the story is set in Nepal children from all over the globe can identify with his dreams and the hurdles he has to overcome to triumph. I would recommend this book to any parent/teacher or anyone that has close contact with children they care about helping. |
