This review is from: Boys Don't Cry; Men Do (Paperback)

One of the best self help books I read on men's issues. A very insightful easy to read book and yet powerfully written that kept my attention all the way through. I highly recommended for men who are looking to better their lives.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not just for men, April 15, 2009
This review is from: Boys Don't Cry; Men Do (Paperback)
Alberto Minzer has blended his personal story with his heightened awareness as a counseling professional to create a book that leaves its mark. Its target audience is men, yet the work is highly identifiable to any man OR woman who has struggled to get to the root of damaging, ineffectual, weak, reactionary patterns. Mr. Minzer's approachable writing style makes for a quick read. However, to maximize the value of the emotion that simply reading the work can evoke, it is ideally read with plenty of time for savoring and personal reflection. This accessible work can help any individual to access greater emotional awareness and to operate from the place of courage and personal truth that is so very necessary for laying the foundation for both personal and global healing.

Alberto Minzer's book, "Boys Don't Cry; Men Do" is an insightful, quick read that can powerfully guide men on their way to authenticity and full maturity. Minzer accurately reveals the underlying effects of generation after generation of men raising boys without an emotional component to their teachings. He guides the reader on an individual path towards full maturity by asking focused and sequentially sound questions throughout the compelling storyline of the book. This book is a blessing to all men.
