...because I LOVE this series. But this final volume just left me feeling "eh." I won't post any spoilers, but while there were some cute moments the entire thing felt fairly rushed and thrown together. All in all, I'd probably give it 3 1/2 stars. Even if things were resolved in the end, I just didn't get much satisfaction out of it. I couldn't say "OK, that wrapped up nicely" and put it aside.
But what does it really matter? All of you die-hard fans who have stuck with this series for 35 other books and up to 6 years, you're going to want to see how it ends. Just maybe...try to find it used. |
