More About the Author

I am a writer and speaker originally from Ohio, but now splitting my time between Houston and Denver Colorado. All my kids (who were the inspirations for all my early books) are grown and gone. Jake is an attorney in Columbus, OH. Jessie is full time mom (and one of the best I've ever seen), and Zac is a pilot for Continental Express airlines. They're all great people and I'm proud of them.

I continue to write and speak more than ever, and have found myself completely challenged by many questions and opportunities. If I could boil down all that I do into a sentence it would be this: I help people figure out what they want, help them get a vision for it and make it real. I want people to live great, successful lives: be free of limitations from the way they think, dream bigger, go farther, have a more balanced life, enjoy being daring and trying new things, and fulfilling the urge to help others and make a difference.

i have many products that I market as "toolkits" on my website. I take an unorthodox approach. For example, I don't tell you you need more confidence...I show you how to create it. I don't tell you you need to communicate better, I show you how to motivate and direct high potential young people, how to solve fear, how to get past the "shoulda, woulda, coulda's" in life, how to make a comeback and fresh start in life......and much more. Check me out at www.beausay.com.

You have my word on one thing: Develop an online relationship with me and I'll fill your heart and mind with some can-do ideas and a technology to get you there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very informative, Made us realize the importance of our task, June 27, 2001

This book is a "must read" for parents of boys. My mother in law bought this book for herself and for me. She has already raised 3 boys so some of this she must have known already She and my father in law raised a boy-my husband into a man that has some great qualities and is very unique in his own way. This book tells you how to treat a boy and helps a new mother and father understand the importance of their task to raise a son into a strong, but sensitive caring man. I want all my friends with boys to read this.

I found this book to be helpful and insightful. After a slow start, Mr. Beausay gives practical advice in recognizing the changes that boys are going through and there inability to express how they feel at a given moment. I found the chapters directed to encouraging them most helpful. I highly recommend this work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Winning, June 30, 2008
The first third of the book only covers what the problem is.
The second third is very helpful. The nine clam openers. Change you expectations, create new atmospheres,
find your boys hot buttons, chill out, are a few hints to get things going. He talks about solid lines and dotted lines. He gives lots of ways to use and expand imagination. This is really a work book that will have to be studied to get something out of it. The three solutions is a nice idea also.
The last third of the book tries to help you handle the stress.
I rate this book as 5 stars mostly on the middle part of the book and a few good points in the last third of the book.
This book should be in your collection even if you do not have a boy or girl.
