Spanish born DJ Sammy (real name Samuel Bouriah) began his music career in 1984 in the dance clubs popular with British tourists in Majorca. He has had four Top Ten hits in the UK charts with covers of previously successful songs including "Heaven" (Bryan Adams), "Boys of Summer" (Don Henley) and "Why" (Annie Lennox). Typically, I don't like artists who remix/remake popular songs. They usually make the song sound even worse. However, this is a clear exception. The vocals (done by Loona) in "The Boys Of Summer" are absolutely incredible. Props to the person who accentuated her voice during mixing. DJ Sammy adds an uplifting beat to an already great song. Definitely 5 stars.
