I just wanted to make note that the lyrics printed in the sleeve is quite different than what is sung on the CD itself. I find that very interesting.

Boyz finding their groove,

This review is from: Boys Will Be Boyz (Audio CD)
this is when the newsboys are finding their groove, and songs like Kingdom Man and Israel rock, and One Love and Taste and See have the euro-beat, pop rock sound they later became known and successful with, like on albums, Not Ashamed, Going Public, and Go, and those four songs stand up as good as Newsboys hits. It is more raw sounding and simple, and not so refined like the next album, Not Ashamed and onward are, and this is why I like most of it and gave 4 stars...

I do not know if this makes for a "good" review, but I listened to this CD 4 times in a row yesterday if that tells you anything. This comes from a perspective of someone that loves everything these guys put out. I have been a #1 fan for just his past year, hence purchasing a 20 year old "album" at this date. Their music is just different and I am pesonally partial to them so I recommend reading other reviews and listening to samples of the songs before purchasing.

A little bit of a disappointment,
By Daniel Powell (Laporte, Colorado) - See all my reviews

A pretty interesting album, if you ask me. It appears as if Peter Furler is the only Newsboy from this group that is still with the band. Not quite the style you know them for today. The only reason I really like it is the fact that it is, in fact, Newsboys. As a collector, I recommend it only for collectors sake, otherwise I'd pass it up...I'm sorry to say.
