4.0 out of 5 stars Great replacement
My battery was dieing after about 2 years of use and was flaky. I stopped in a couple retail stores cingular/alltel ect. to purchase another battery it was 60. I knew that was a joke and came on here and found the upgraded BR50 different batteries then when the razr first came out. It works well even though my original battery claimed 3.6V and this one is 3.7V it still...

1.0 out of 5 stars Junk - not even worth $3
As with others, received it in a timely fashion and it appeared to be new and matched what my original battery looked like. Doesn't hold a charge more than 5-6 hours even if I don't make a single call. Seller was quickly asking me for feedback and I gave positive feedback because it arrived quickly and worked at first... I think the only reason they have so many...

I think the only reason they have so many positive reviews is that they try to get the feedback quickly before people realize their product is junk. I think Amazon should boot this seller off the site.

1.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware, August 3, 2008
By
This review is from: Br50 - Motorola Razr V3 / V3c / V3i OEM Li-ion Battery - Black Battery (Wireless Phone Accessory)
One reviewer noted regarding the RAZR batteries from Accessory One and other sellers, that the battery he received had been manufactured a year before the purchase. This may explain the wide range of customer experience with regard to these batteries. Lithium ion batteries begin to lose their ability to hold a charge right after they are made, and many will lose functionality two years after manufacture. The battery may be "brand new" and in the original sealed packaging, but if it's been sitting on a shelf for a year or so, it will not perform like a freshly manufactured battery. Buyers should realize that at these low prices, they are taking a chance. They may luck out, and get a battery that works well at a bargain price, or they may wind up with one that has little or no ability to hold a charge. After reading the reviews here, I decided against buying one of these batteries. To me, it's worth it to spend more, and get a battery I know is fresh and will perform as promised. For more information on Lithium ion (and other batteries) I recommend you check out www.batteryuniversity.com .

1.0 out of 5 stars Original?, July 9, 2007

I got 2 of these for my V3 from Amazon-Accessory One. They both worked poorly. Need to recharge daily with 15-20 minute talk time. With the original battery that came with my V3 the same usage lasted me 3-4 days per charge.

1.0 out of 5 stars Supposed V3 battery?, January 28, 2008

After speaking with the people at Motorola, they said it wasn't for my phone even though the description is for a V3c. The battery isn't even supposed to be sold in the United States! It is for a Motorola Chinese phone. I wasted my money buying this product only to have it shipped then shortly after thrown away. The people at Motorola do not recommend using this battery in your Razr!

Don't get a battery from your retail store it's a ripoff, get this one, this one is also a legitimate Motorola battery with hologram and everything.

1.0 out of 5 stars Price Too Good To Be True, May 28, 2007

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Br50 - Motorola Razr V3 / V3c / V3i OEM Li-ion Battery - Black Battery (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I bought these for a PEBL because -- despite the Motorola specs advertising over 400 minutes of talk time and over 280 hours of standby -- I was getting something like 150 minutes of talk and only one week of standby (160+) which later reduced to just 48 hours. I purchased a new, unlocked PEBL from an online retailer in December 2006 so I owned it for four months; I did not turn bluetooth on, either. I figured I needed new batteries so I bought these because the price was excellent.

Well, you get what you pay for! The batteries look new and are labeled just like the one that came with my PEBL, but unfortunately the first battery I tried would not even charge; the second battery charged but depleted rapidly (my PEBL would show three bars but then turn itself off) after about 2 weeks of use. These batteries didn't work for me and neither did my PEBL, so I got rid of all.

I do not trust Motorola's specs on battery life; except for the RAZR I have not owned a Moto phone that has delivered on its technical specs. And now I guess I can't trust batteries, either. Caveat emptor, I suppose. I don't believe I will be purchasing Motorola products or accessories again.

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY!, March 2, 2008
This review is from: Br50 - Motorola Razr V3 / V3c / V3i OEM Li-ion Battery - Black Battery (Wireless Phone Accessory)
The merchandise is shoddy. I ordered 2 batteries. When I got them, I fully charged both. Unfortunately they only last about 15 minutes, which is ridiculous. My expectation was no hours of talk time, but I thought they would at least function as a fully charged battery should.

The company is shady. I formerly posted about the problem that I had with the battery, and then was contacted by eForcity asking to remove my negative feedback in return for replacement merchandise. I removed my feedback and they never sent the replacements. When I emailed them over a week later and attached the original email offering me the deal, and my reply when I accepted their offer, their response was "do you want to have a replacement on this item." I'm pretty sure that was the point of me emailing them inquiring about when I would get my new batteries.

This company has poor business practices and sells merchandise that doesn't even live up to minimal expectations.

A little more powerful than the original battery, but seems to work great with charger and phone.
