I got this ironing board cover within a week (and I live in Alaska, so that's unusual!!) At first, I thought the material it was made up of was interesting, and it took some getting used to, but I love it now!!!! I guess I was used to having a cotton cover but this is stain resistant and, let me tell you, I sew CONSTANTLY, and it still has no stains on it!! Even after 4 weeks of use!!!
I wish the padding it came with was a bit thicker, but I placed a bath towel on my ironing board under the cover, so it works great!

I was wary from reading other reviews, but I was desperate to find a replacement cover for my no-name 2002 Walmart(?) wide ironing board. The original cover was a natural colored twill with a foam backing. However, the foam backing was dried out and falling through the surface's grids...had to find something but nothing in the stores fit my 48x18" board. Good ol' Amazon--I want to rename you Amazin'!

This cover is superior to my original because it has the silvery slick surface for ironing and the padding is better than my original board's. I love my board because it's wide and very tall. This cover, although it fits up to 49", still adjusts snugly for my 48" board. The "shoulders" are at the exact right place--though because the cover has a drawstring closure, it should fit boards that taper at different places than mine. Note that the cover has little perforation holes which I didn't realize, but seems fine.

I was certain from others' reviews that I'd need some sort of additional pad--but NO. This is fine all by itself to prevent any grid marks from coming through. (what are you guys ironing on--sheepskin?!) I was also worried that this "upscale" brand cover wouldn't work with my good old Walmart board--but it's perfect.

It also comes with a little rubber band type bungee cord. I didn't really need to add it, but didn't want to just throw it out, so I did.

I think most people will be very happy with this product and am SO glad I overlooked some of the negative reviews. (and it came in 2 days!)

The cover is OK. I thought it would have more of a foam insert. It's pretty thin. I don't think I'd buy this cover again.

This ironing board cover has it all: durable surface, reflects heat so ironing is quicker and easier, elastic bands and drawstring for a good fit, and true to size for the larger boards. I could not be more pleased--and my husband is even happier since he's the one who irons so much !

Get the ironing board cover and the felt pad together fro pure ironing effectiveness and to cut your ironing time in half.

This is the first cover I've purchased that I did not have to struggle with, it is a perfect fit!

This cover is paper thin. When I use my iron, the design of my ironing table get "carved" into the fabric. This cover is too thin to be used with a steam iron.

This Brabantia ironing board cover replaces the original cover that came with the ironing board. It is an exact fit and is easy to install. I do not like that the iron doesn't glide as easily over the surface of this cover like it did on the surface of the original cloth cover. If this new cover lasts as long as the original cover did then this new cover is well worth the price.

If you have a Brabantia ironing board, this cover is made for it and it fits perfectly!! I love my board because it is large and sturdy. Why I looked anywhere else is beyond me, I should know better and in addition it cost at least $10 less than any other cover I purchased and had to return!
