This is an excellent book for those considering a Bracco as a pet. It provides a lot of good information about the breed, its history, and general health, training, and care. As I get more and more questions concerning bracco health (I am with the North American Bracco Italiano Club - www.braccoitaliano.org), I would have liked to see a little more health related information that is specific to the Bracco Italiano breed, but that is the only thing that kept me from giving this book a 5 star rating. The author did a very good job in researching the breed and providing a lot of good information. It is a very good reference and I definitely give it two thumbs up!

I purchased this book as a birthday gift for a friend. She would like to have a dog of this breed and wanted more informaton. She had been unable to find information elsewhere, so she was thrilled to receive this.
