This is a great mount especially if you plan on using your cellphone as your GPS, it allows you to keep your phone in view without having to glance down at it or pick it up while driving. It is very sturdy, adjusting the arm on it is easy but not so easy that it will bend by a bump in the road for example. The suction cup on it holds even heavier phones quite effortlessly, I have an HTC Surround and even a silicon case and it is able to support the weight. I also like that the suction cup has a switch on it to flatten the cup and thus losing suction if you ever need to take it off so it is completely hassle free. The grip this has on the phone is amazing and simple to use, the material the phone rests on makes sure the phone doesn't slide and the adjustable arms on it have a foam padding on them that keeps your phone secure and protected, I absolutely love that they are fully adjustable too, so if you have buttons on the side of your phone they can be adjusted to fit best without getting in the way of the buttons. Also placing and taking the phone off the mount is easy since the adjustable arms expand outwards with a button on the side. When setting the phone on the mount you just expand the arms out, place the phone on the mount, and then tighten the arms to the phone just enough to hold it in place. Taking it off is just as easy. This was definitely money well spent and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. I would definitely recommend it and am already suggesting it to friends of mine! All in all good product for price. Ratcheting jaws hold product but seems like with a little to much force could break. Suction cup is great no problems, arm is pretty ridged but yet flexible enough to easily manipulate.

Make sure u mount on windshield using the dash as support otherwise u will get alot of vibration when u drive the car. Other then that its a good product. I use it for my HTC Evo works good with it.

I purchased a 2011 Chevy Malibu with Bluetooth capability, and matching my iPhone to the sound system was easy. What I wanted was real hands free calling. I could use voice commands for certain caller functions. I could answer and end the call using buttons on the steering wheel. What I couldn't do is look up numbers and dial without holding the phone. I searched Amazon for phone mount options and selected the Bracketron Swivel Mount and the related Universal Cup Holder Mount. I tried using the Swivel Mount suction cup on the windshield, but the reach of the bendable "arm" was too short. With two cup holders in the console, I placed the Cup Holder Mount in one, carefully bent the Swivel Mount "arm" (put presure on the bendable arm, not the pieces it attaches too!) so it cleared my coffee cup in the other cup holder, and suction mounted it to the Mount. It's not perfect, but it's as close to perfect as I have figured out for the Malibu application. It's been road tested and approved.

They love it! My husband is a techy and very particular and he thinks this is a great product...Highly recommend.

I'm basically satisfied with the mount I bought, but be aware of at least two considerations. The glass must be very clean where the suction cup mounts in order for it to stay there. Even so, I suspect that the suction cup is bound to come loose on its own sometime, though I can't prove that. Also, the flexible support arm is strong and flexible, but its suction mount and length cause and allow movement at the business end in a moving vehicle. Therefore, the manufacturer recommends that the free end be braced against something (like the dash). If you clean the glass and brace the iPod end you should be OK, though.

I was looking for something to hold my Flip camera on the windscreen of my plane. I wanted to record my flights. After trying a few options, I settled on this one. The suction cup is very reliable - add a little moisture (i.e. spit haha) in there and the thing is not going to move. The bendable arm is great - it allows you complete mobility in the car or the cockpit. It's easy to move around but once you bend it into place, it will not move. I was really pleased with how well the grip clamps on the side held my camera in place. That thing wasn't going to budge. The foldable arms on the bottom are great too, because it gives another form of support. The quick release at the base of the arm is great too. It is a well built mount. Overall a great product.

I received my swivel mount and spent a few minutes playing with it. It holds my Droid X pretty securely with the adjustable sides that also have adjustable sliding arms that go up and down, so I do not have to have any of my buttons blocked. The swivel section is very bendable, but it is stiff and will hold its shape well. The side arms have a foam coating so they really grip my phone well once they are pushed in. Releasing the phone is very easy too, you just push the button on the bottom and the side arms release the pressure and slide out allowing for easy retrieval of your phone or GPS unit.

This unit is made to mount to the windshield or some other smooth surface. I am in New Jersey and its illegal here to have anything attached to your windshield. I do not have any smooth surfaces to attach the suction cup to my dash, so a little ingenuity was called for during my installation. I took a flat piece of sheet metal, cut it about 4 inches square, sanded it, painted it, then did some light sanding with a very fine grit paper over the paint to make the surface absolutely smooth. I then attached my custom built metal plate to my dash with some strips of double-stick tape. Then I attached the suction cup to the plate and it holds very well.

This is a very good mount and appears to be made very well. I expect a long life with this product.

Ps: my friend has the same mount that clips on his air conditioning vent. He loves it and told me about it, that is how I came to find this one. I did not want to block the vent, so I got the one with the suction cup and long arm.

I bought one of these and it worked really well with my Motorola Droid (even with body glove covers)

however sold my car and I was trying to take it off and it was freezing cold. the unit snapped at the plastic that attaches to the suction cup. (unrepairable) I don't really fault the product because it so cold and plastic becomes very brittle at that temp. plus it really held onto the window too ;)

So I ordered a new one and it took FOR EVER to show up. (like weeks) from the company that I bought it from via amazon. So much so that it didn't show up in time for our drive to Florida and I ended up going to best buy and getting one there.

so now I have two ;)

I recommend the product - esp if you have moto droid.

I use this in my for my iPod and it is great. It holds my iPod very firm and it is very secure. I highly recommend this.
