5.0 out of 5 stars GPS windshield mount
This is a very versatile mount for GPS units, iPod or other MP3 players, cell phones, and other devices. 3.0 out of 5 stars Does the job, but barely
This product does hold your smartphone and does stick to the windshield. Otherwise, it's cheaply made and feels like you are going to break it when you have to adjust it. The piece that holds the phone comes off of the mount relatively easily, which is annoying. It's stiff and bounces as you drive, which is distracting when you are viewing navigation programs. I don't...

5.0 out of 5 stars GPS windshield mount, June 24, 2010

This is a very versatile mount for GPS units, iPod or other MP3 players, cell phones, and other devices. The mount unit expands and contracts to various sizes and the padding holds the unit securely even when the vehicle is bouncing around. The arm is flexible and can be shaped as needed. The mount also swivels which helps with power cord placement, etc. The suction cup holds over a wide variety of temperature ranges. We've had one mounted in our truck through out the recent winter (down to 5 degrees) and now the temps range in the low 100's and its still holding.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect all purpose swivel mount, March 28, 2009

This review is from: Bracketron Mobile Grip-iT Windshield Mount Kit (Electronics)
I searched high and low for a product that could hold iPods and iPhones IN THEIR CASES, yet be sturdy, reliable and well designed AND ROTATE. This is it. Perfect in every regard; superbly engineered, solidly constructed, insanely easy to use - it's as intuitive a design as an Apple product. It moves easily from one vehicle to another. The side arms adjust easily and lock into place, holding the Touch fast in a foamy grip; a simple button push releases it. bottom support arms also pivot a full 360º allowing you to accomodate any line out, and shape of product or case.
The swivel turns my Touch into gold. Can turn iPod Touch landscape, scroll through cover view, pick an album, play, turn touch upright. I can broiwse the internet in a parking lot with my hands elsewhere. I can watch music videos stuck in traffic. per. fect. shun.

5.0 out of 5 stars A match with Htc Evo, October 9, 2010

Stays on glass. Long adjustable arm has a phone holder that rotates 360 degress. Great when switching between
the phone's gps navigation app (horizontal view) & back to the upright position. Bottom adjustable "feet" will not
block the evo's microphone, or usb & hdmi connections. Foam sides hold phone well.
Good product.

I thought that the mount was a flexible snake, but found that instead, the snake is rigid plastic. I could not find any way to mount it in my car such that it looked reasonable. Ended up not using it, and buying a mount that attached to the ventilator pieces, which worked a great deal better and looked better too. It was made by the same company.

I don't think anyone would buy this thing if they realized that the snake is not flexible.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great so far, September 30, 2011

I've had this little gadget for a couple months now. I stuck it low on the front windshield and even with the deep slant in the windshield I can still reach my phone when its mounted. I bought this for the price, the ease of inserting devices, its generality if i change phones or want to attach another device, and the long, flexible mount.

I was skeptical about window mounts and wanted a vent mount instead, but my vents are vertical so I was forced to go this route. Ultimately I am very pleased with the purchase. I can use my phone's gps without dangerously looking in my lap and change songs/stations in internet radio without having to look down.

The material is fairly durable and nothing has become loose or fallen apart and after around 2 months its still attached to the window.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love It, September 12, 2011

Been using this for a month now, for my Motorola Photon, and am loving it. I was afraid that the gripper would be cheap/chintzy but it's actually quite hearty. I've attached this to a beanbag-type mount and put it on my dash, it's never fallen off. Only a couple of times has the phone fallen out of the gripper, but I think that's because I didn't contract the gripper enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars Value Buy!, August 30, 2011

I have owned this mount for the past year and love it! You cannot beat it for the price. The thing I really prefer is the smooth, strong flex-shaft that looks quality built and is. The one thing that seems to wear quickly is the bracket release mechanism which seams to be loosing it's ability to release your device once secured with just a push of the button. Meaning you sometimes have to use two hands, one guiding the grip apart and the other pushing the release button. But this could just be from my forceful and unreserved use of it too. I've never had it just fall down even in the coldest of below zero temperatures; however, when not put on correctly any mount will. This mount swivels nicely; however, be careful not to pull bracket off the bracket mount as you could break it. Make sure you assemble it tightly initially and you'll be fine. Overall, excellent for the money!
