I purchased this product and the first time I used it, worked great. Second time I used it worked great again. The third time I squeeze it together against my phone and it broke. Very cheap item. Would not recommend. However, I called into Bracketron and talked to Adam. He is sending me out a replacement piece. Great customer service! Which I think means more than the product. Update: 3/30/12 I since have gotten my replacement piece. Figured I'd update my review with my more recent thoughts. Now that I have used it more, I think the first one I got was a fluke. It works awesome! I've used it about 10 times. Plus, great customer service when I did have an issue!! A++++ Product at a great price.

Excellent product!!! Bought it to hold my Callaway UPro and it works perfectly. It can be adjusted to hold most any electronic device, Ipod, MP3 player, cell phone, etc. The mount made specifically for the UPro by Callaway was priced around $50. This is so much more worth the money . . . about $15.

Was looking for a holder for an iphone and came across this one - it really works well! It adjusts to account for any holder your iphone is in and can be used on a riding golf cart. It is very secure. Intend to try it on a push golf cart and on a bicycle.

The grip-it easily mounts on any golf cart. The hold is solid and secure. The mount will rotate left/right and up/down for easy viewing from any mount position. Great product, especially for the price.

Works well on all golf carts to far. We don't go to the same golf course all the time and this unit fits on all the carts we have tried it on. It stays put which is what we were worried about.

Literally, after my first shot using the GPS holder, I knocked my GPS out of the holder as I grabbed my pushcart's handle.. The brackets simply don't squeeze in hard enough.. Simple solution for my situation, use one of those "Livestrong" wrist bands to help clamp the bracket shut.. It impeeds the screen a little bit, but I know the GPS will stay put. Other than that, I like the holder...

I ordered this bracket for the Golf Buddy Tour , you cannot use it as the buttons are on the side of the GPS and when you tighten the bracket the unit goes off or into another mode. I had to order a bracket from another vendor, if you can take this one back that would be great.
Thank you,
Jan Fisher

I needed something to hold my Golf Buddy to my push golf cart and this works perfectly. My golf cart folds up for transport and Bracketron Mount easily swings out of the way so that it doesn't get broken like my last mount (not a Brackerton) did. Also the delivery time was very fast.

Bought this to use my Samsung Note II phone with a golf app. Wasn't sure it would fit, but it does open up wide enough and close securely enough to hold my phone securely. The strap attachment feature works well for my golf push-cart and is quickly and easily attached or removed from the cart itself and holds it firmly in place; however, the spot where the holder and the strap attachment slide and snap together is more difficult to separate than I'd like. Separating them makes for a much smaller storage size, and I recommend separating the two halves AFTER removing the whole bracket from the cart. Also, I'd love it if the little arms that swing out on the bottom of the bracket could actually extend at least an inch or so; my phone is long enough that a sizeable part of it sticks up above the top of the bracket and I'd be worried if the bracket wasn't able to grip the phone as firmly as it does; I have to mount it with the long way vertical/up, because my golf app doesn't rotate to the horizontal orientation. Works way better than the $20 one I bought that's made for motorcycles and is clamped on by screws, making it way more time consuming than I like and requires some tools. This Bracketron bracket is installed and removed using no tools. Very nice!

Overall I liked this mount. It has a cool gripping mechanism for the phone (GPS), but this was also it's downfall. It's hard to explain, but see those arms that look like backwards capital "D"'s? Those slide apart (creating backward capital "C"'s) to accommodate and support longer devices. The way they slide is on small plastic rails. Well, somehow one of the thin plastic rails broke and I was unable to repair. Too thin and brittle? Did I bump in to it? I don't know. But now, I have a broken GPS/phone mount.

The design is cool, useful and very adaptable but the longevity and durability is in question for me. One additional plus; it looks like they've updated the mounting bracket. The old one (mine) was a cumbersome 2 piece "hook here, screw there" type of design. Functional, adaptable to different sizes but a pain in the neck as well as having loose parts that are easy to misplace. The new design in the picture looks very user friendly as long as it's steady and sturdy.
