Car cup holders for iPods seem few and far between these days. I bought this one because it was so adjustable. I wish I could return it, but it's not worth the hassle or shipping cost. The stand and the mount are made out of cheap plastic and wobble in the cup holder. The ratchet adjusting mechanism is also plastic and won't withstand trying to wedge the thing in the cup holder. So you end up always one size too small in the cup holder and the whole thing tips over whenever you go around a corner. The well-built arm is solid, but that's it. I'll probably throw this thing out.

This solution is the perfect fit for any size cup holder regardless of make and/or model car. It also accommodates any size device (smartphone, mp3 player, G.P.S.unit, etc.). Very useful in any ca, truck, van.

Items is well made but will not work on all vehicles. My Toyota Tundra has an odd type of cup holder and the holder does not fit. My Ford Escape has holders to rear of console so can't use the holder there. Think about fit prior to ordering. Should fit most vehicles.

Update: now in use for several trips. Item is suppose to 'ratchet' to expand and fit cup holder. Mine now slips and will not fit tightly. Ratchet mechanism is cheap. Very annoying. Return requires a $10 restocking fee and item cost less! Recommend look for a different option.

I paid ten bucks for this, it was about worth that. It didn't fit the cup holder very securely. Wobbled alot.

This adapter is a nice item to have, and it has good adjustability, good fit, and good overall features. But that is also its main problem: it is only just "good". It fits into deep cupholders nicely, but it could fit better, especially in its ability to maintain a very tight fit. It has some movement to adjust around, but even that is limited to a few optimal positions. And the arm could be longer, which would help the positioning, however I can see that that might increase any instability. But overall, I like it and it does work, but I would suggest looking at several options before buying. For me in my vehicle, it does a pretty good job and I like it. It was worth the money. For others, maybe not so much. Get it if it suits your needs.

Great idea but that's it. The adjustment that locks it in the cup holder is tough to use. Also I can not use it in the car and charge the battery at the same time because there is no room for the power cord when it sits properly. Choose another product!

Its a great product. Its much more versatile than i expected with multiple swivel points. It grips my psp with the case on just what i wanted. It fits in the cup holder pretty snug. theres a little wobble but doesn't fly out when i turn corners. Great solution to having a mount other than a windshield or dash mount.

Received it in less than a week. Product is great. Very easy to adjust to fit cupholder and device. The only thing I don't like is that the neck hight is not adjustable (up/down - you can bend it though); thus, it sits high in the my BMW's dash mounted cup-holder.

Best gadget holder ever for a cup holder use it everyday and love it. Holds all of my portable touchscreen gadgets: navigation device, ipod, and cell phone. would get a second one for my other vehicle if my other vehicle had a cup holder in the center console.

Holds most phones well but the lock latch is flimsy but for price it is good.
