The Universal Cup Holder Mounting Platform easily converts your windshield mount into a Cup Holder Mount.

The large 3 1/2 inch diameter mounting surface provides ample room to attach most windshield mounts, making for a convenient way to install your GPS, Satellite Radio, Cell Phone, iPod or iPhone in your vehicle.

The easy to install design requires you to simply rotate the head of the Mounting Platform while holding it in your cup holder - the base expands outward - until a snug fit has been achieved. This innovative design works with most cup holders up to 4 1/4 inches in diameter. All that's left to do is suction your windshield mount with you device attached to it to the mounting surface of the Cup Holder Mounting Platform and your ready to go.

The cup holder works great for my GPS,you can make it fit tight in your cup holder by twisting the bottom platform which keeps your GPS from moving.

I originally got a defective unit (wouldn't tighten up), but quickly got a replacement through Amazon. The replacement process was extremely painless. The new unit works great. I have a slide-out & adjustable cupholder unit on my old Toyota. I was a little worried about breaking the cupholder when expanding the base -- just have to make sure the two expanding tabs on either side of the base contact the fixed portion of the cupholder. Otherwise, you might expand the base against the expandable part of the cupholder and break it.

At first I was skeptical about buying this item. After receiving it and trying it I felt better about my purchase. My personal opinion is that it's the best GPS cup holder on the market. Doesn't interfere with your vision , since you don't mount it on the window. The unit fits tight in the cup holder after adjusting it. The suction of the GPS holder is firm. It definitely looks neat in your cup holder. I'm glad I purchased this item for the price. Small investment pays off big. You can't go wrong !!
