The cup holder works great for my GPS,you can make it fit tight in your cup holder by twisting the bottom platform which keeps your GPS from moving.

I originally got a defective unit (wouldn't tighten up), but quickly got a replacement through Amazon. The replacement process was extremely painless. The new unit works great. I have a slide-out & adjustable cupholder unit on my old Toyota. I was a little worried about breaking the cupholder when expanding the base -- just have to make sure the two expanding tabs on either side of the base contact the fixed portion of the cupholder. Otherwise, you might expand the base against the expandable part of the cupholder and break it.

At first I was skeptical about buying this item. After receiving it and trying it I felt better about my purchase. My personal opinion is that it's the best GPS cup holder on the market. Doesn't interfere with your vision , since you don't mount it on the window. The unit fits tight in the cup holder after adjusting it. The suction of the GPS holder is firm. It definitely looks neat in your cup holder. I'm glad I purchased this item for the price. Small investment pays off big. You can't go wrong !!

The upper stage for the suction cup is very large and should accommodate most any suction mount for GPS/cell phones. My suction cup dock hasn't fallen off of yet.

However, the bottom of the one I received does not expand all the way, so it can be a little wiggly in the cupholder, but not enough for me to not use it. Tried calling Bracketron about the expansion issue at least 5 times, never could get a person....

Much more convenient for me than a windshield mount as my car has a very long dash

Very nice, this product work as describe in the description. Very easy to move from car to car and is adjustable. It is also very stable. Shipping time is accurate as they said.

If you have an open cup holder, buy it. The cup holder in my Saturn console is kinda D shaped and this thing still locks in solidly. Keeps the GPS off the dash or windshield, out of sight from people looking to steal them.

The cup holder it mounts in needs to be one of those molded in ones. If yours is one of those pull out drawer things that only pinches the cup, this will not work very good.

Love this GPS cup mount holder...I have been through 3 different GPS holders and this by far is the easiest and most convenient and a real great design. You can adjust the size to fit in your cup holder ion your car...

I purchased a 2011 Chevy Malibu with Bluetooth capability, and matching my iPhone to the sound system was easy. What I wanted was real hands free calling. I could use voice commands for certain caller functions. I could answer and end the call using buttons on the steering wheel. What I couldn't do is look up numbers and dial without holding the phone. I searched Amazon for phone mount options and selected the Bracketron Swivel Mount and the related Universal Cup Holder Mount. I tried using the Swivel Mount suction cup on the windshield, but the reach of the bendable "arm" was too short. With two cup holders in the console, I placed the Cup Holder Mount in one,and simply turned the Holder to increase it's diameter to assure it stayed in place. I then suction mounted the Swivel phone holder to the Cup Holder Mount. It's not perfect, but it's as close to perfect as I have figured out for the Malibu application. It's been road tested and approved.

My gps is 7", too big to put anywhere on my windshield. This was the PERFECT solution for my problem. It fits perfectly in my cupholder. I should have bought this item sooner. Fits securely and is very easy to remove

too large for my windshield. This was perfect. It kept the screen low enough
not to block anything less.
