Last 2 years my lawn was being over taken by crab Grass and weeds. I read how corn gluten in a natural herb aside and can be used to prevent crab grass & weed seeds from germinating so i gave Bradfield Organics Luscious Lawn Corn Gluten fertilizer a try. Feed my lawn mid March and May before we left for our vacation. It's July 8th and not one bit of crab grass is in my lawn and overall look of the lawn is great. Very few broad leaf weeds made it past but the corn gluten but only a few. I must say this will stay a staple in my lawn program. I will use this again like i have and finish off the season with my old staple Ringer Lawn Restore since you can't seed for 90 days after applying a corn gluten based fertilizer.

I wish I could do 4-1/2 stars but I choose 5. Mainly, because I can't be around chemical products at all and this is a great alternative for me. This year I added the corn gluten fertiziler in January (N. California) rather than March and it has stopped the crab grass that I have been fighting the last couple years. I do however have a lot of clover and a couple dandelions. For me though, the luscious green lawn I get is great! IF you are looking for a quick fix, stick with the chemical products that create quick growth. This one may take twice as long, but gives better grass roots and stronger grass if you ask me. I love it! (kept for a few random clover etc mentioned)

I recently re-landscaped my yard and needed an organic pre-emergent for planter areas. About 4 weeks later we now have clovers, grasses, and weeds popping up everywhere. Regretting not just using a chemical pre-emergent now.
