Now this one which was replaced after a year is now 3 months out of warranty ( only 5 years but the warranty is not extended on the replacement ) is now leaking.

In six years we have gone through 3 Bradford White Water Heaters. My opinion of Bradford White is not something that I can print. Our home was newly built in June 2006. It came with a 50 gallon Bradford White Water Heater (#1). The model = Bradford White Model #M250S6DS. It stopped working in August 2008. A second (#2) Bradford White 50 Gallon Water Heater was installed on August 22, 2008. It stopped working in August of 2010. A third (#3) Bradford White 50 Gallon water Heater was installed on August 6, 2010. On September 14, 2012 it dumped several gallons of water onto the basement floor. Because I have had to mop several gallons of water from the basement floor, I will need to shop for my fourth (#4) water heater this weekend. Guess which brand I will never buy again?

We are very happy with our BW water heater. We planned to replace our broken Kenmore water heater after 15 years of use with another Kenmore. However, we did some research and the BW water heater got great reviews and it cost less. We are very happy with our decision.

Stay away from this water heater. We built in 2005 and installed Bradford White 60 Gal Nat gas heater. Started leaking after 3 years and was replaced under warranty(except labor). Second heater strted leaking after 4 years but 6 year warranty expired.(Apparently warranty period does not start over with replacement) Needless to say I did NOT replace with a Bradford White!!

First BW lasted a year - replaced under warranty. NOT the labor to install so luckily I know the plumber and I was able to install myself. Now this one which was replaced after a year is now 3 months out of warranty ( only 5 years but the warranty is not extended on the replacement ) is now leaking. Based on all the reviews I am finding and my recent experience BW is not the product it used to be and yet still charges like it was a superior product of yesterday. Do yourself a favor and buy a better brand!
