Like many who have reviewed this item, I was skeptical yet purchased the item because the price was so low I figured I'd only be out a few dollars.

The first thing I noticed was the packaging shows the cable as 2 feet in length, while the description of the product I purchased specifically listed 6 feet in length. After removing the cable from the packaging, it is indeed 2 feet long. The discrepancy in length was an inconvenience as I had to rearrange my entertainment system to move the Wii closer to the TV, because well I needed a 6 foot cable.

Besides the fact that the cable is too short, I too have a cable that displays wavy horizontal lines across the screen. The lines seem to intensify with audio also. Pretty sure this is simply inadequate shielding and poor construction.

The price is so cheap, I was just expecting a low quality pieced together product. Boy was I surprised when I pulled out something that looked like it shipped from Nintendo itself! The cables work great and surprisingly do make a difference! For the price and the quality you receive, its well worth the purchase.

I noticed the difference immediately upon plugging this in. When I bought my 1080p TV and began playing my PS3 and PC in full 1080p, I couldn't bring myself to play my Wii with it's blurry resolution. That ended as soon as I got this in the mail. This cable will make a big difference when dealing with ghosting and tracing due to 480i output. Shipping was slightly longer than anticipated, but mostly because it got stuck in a city 45 minutes away for 3 days.

I must have gotten a bad cable too. Like another review said, I'm seeing lines through the video (but only when there is sound), and humming though the audio. The lines move and wiggle with the audio. It seems that the audio and video are interfering with each other.

to much red in the picture. Everything has a pink color to it. Had to go to Radio Shack and buy a better cable. Dont waste your money on this.

I received my order sooner than the expected date. I hooked it up and it surprised me with the picture quality...a lot better than the original cable came with the Wii's package. All I had to do was reset the Wii's screen resolution to 480P and this is the best picture you can get from the Wii game machine. If you want a better resolution of 1080P then you need to get the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360.

The cable I received did not work, although at the price (got it for $2) it was worth a shot.

Ok there really good for the price. They do work very well and its bin little under a week that i had them and i see no problems with them the sound and video are both good they are 480p as any other one u would buy soo.. i do recommend you buy these.. :) good luck

The cable works great, I'm not sure if the video quality got any better but I needed to move it to this type of connection so another game could use my three plug connection and my TV only has one of those.
