These pieces are very difficult, with Brahms venturing into some his most challenging experiments with harmony and counterpoint. This ensemble is performing "without a net" -- a capella, no accompaniment to anchor their intonation, and they come through with flying colors.

The RIAS-Kammerchor is an excellent group. I have gobbled up everything they have issued. The sopranos can lack some sweetness in their tone occasionally, but overall their performances are top-notch. Highly recommended!
