Excellent performance, December 15, 2011

Seeing the photo on the CD insert, I thought I was taking a chance on getting a silly performance, but it turned out this recording is outstanding. The Op. 8 interpretation in particular seems highly influenced by the Beaux Arts, but the Solisti handles some issues a bit different. Passionate interpretation, clear rendering, extraordinary performance. Well worth the purchase.
