From School Library Journal
Grade 3 Up-Here's a fun book that girls will really enjoy. Sinclair presents a basic introduction to braiding techniques, such as cornrows, twists, and braided coils, accompanied by clearly illustrated directions. She then offers 23 unique styles, starting with easy ones and then proceeding to the more complicated. Each do is matched with the appropriate hair length needed to achieve it and instructions on how to weave in ribbons or beads, and even pipe cleaners in the case of a "Pippi Longstocking" look. Full-page color photos greatly enhance the book.
