Editorial Reviews

Review

"The Brain Atlas serves as an authoritative reference work and learning tool for the brain and central nervous system. The work is essential fo rthe personal libraries of students, practioners, and researchers in neuroscience biology, psychiatry, and psychology, among other disciplines, as well as for libraries supporting both undergraduate and graduate course in school of medicine or health care facilities. The Brain Atlas is a worthwhile addition to any such collection, either as a replacement of or supplement to previous editions of the title." (E-Streams, December 2008)

"This reference book will serve as an outstanding resource for all students of neuroscience … .This Atlas will become a much sought after companion." (Journal of Tropical Pediatrics, August 2008)

4.0 out of 5 stars Medical Student Opinion, February 22, 2000
This review is from: The Brain Atlas (Paperback)
The photographs are excellent, but the index sucks. It is poorly organized and incomplete. Take my advice and buy this book for Neuroanatomy just for the pictures. The paperback edition is very afforadable. Just put lots of little flags on the pages or sections you use most. It will save you much brain-ache.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's best!!, September 17, 1999
This review is from: The Brain Atlas (Paperback)
Hanaway's brain atlas is best neuroanatomy atlas for medical students in pre-clinical level. Its photos and illustrations are very clear and easy to understand. And it is good for self study.
