Fabulous Book,
By
This review is from: The Brain Book: Know Your Own Mind and How to Use it (Paperback)
As a part of my middle school gifted-students curriculum, we were required to read this book. 10 years later, it is still one of the most influential books I have come across in my entire life, and I still use many of the techniques the book talks about in its memory and note-taking chapters.
I strongly suggest getting this book and sitting down and reading through it again and again.

I picked this book up in a book store and read a couple pages in the first chapter. I was so amazed by how well the book was written and how informative it was I decided I had to buy it right away. This book should be available to all parents, highschool students, etc. Peter Russell is brilliant! I definitly recomend this book to everyone.

Trigger, Flash, and Total Recall While being a Reader Alone!,

If I had this book in Middle School, I would have been on The National Honor Society and the F.B.I. would be after me while the N.S.A. would protect me! This book is The One Meant For You as it is compiled of many other books by other authors. I learned How To "Scan" or speed-read; I learned How To Memorize Hand-Written Notes ( I actually wrote those notes myself and managed to own them throughout my college life at The University of Colorado @ Boulder, Boulder, Colorado U.S.A. ) while the Dinosaur in front of the class Drones on and on....I even now have learned How To Take Notes in front of the Internet Terminal without printing 100,000 pages to get only Bezo's e-mail address. This Bud's for you, dudes! By the way. skip trying to use Roman Numerals and Capital Letters in Note Taking in class. Just use Indentation as used in writing Pascal or C+ with a BIC 4-color pen. Color is used by "Normal" people to Visually See our notes, not to start a WAR, dudes...please see my review of "Color Code" in the more affordable paperback ed. By the way, please see "Snapping" for those who wish to recover their friends....

Can't beat the price!,
By Heidi (Minnesota, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Brain Book (Plume) (Paperback)
I only paid 19 cents for this book, so I can't complain! It arrived at my door in 4 days. It was older (I think it's even out of print) with a bent cover but minimal writing on the pages. For the price, I can't complain!
