These books are so great. I got one for fun last summer for some long bus rides, and found myself going back for more and more. The puzzles are just challenging enough and the variety is great. If you like word, puzzle, and even some math problems, this is for you. They say you want to keep your mind working to keep it nimble and these keep me thinking and having fun.

Not the best choice,
This review is from: Brain Games Collection #6 (Brain Games (Unnumbered)) (Spiral-bound)
This was an ok puzzle book. I like the overall layout and design, but the puzzles themselves are often frustrating because they are poorly created. For example, it may ask you to solve a puzzle using COMMON 3 letter words and then after being stuck for 30 minutes you check the answer sheet in the back only to find that there are 1 or 2 words that are so obscure or archaic that you need a dictionary to figure out what they are. Don't get me wrong, I love being challenged. When you have to check the answers on a hard game you should be going "oooh ya!" but all too many times with this book I find myself saying "well that's just stupid." There are better choices out there, look for Mensa approved books as they're usually well tested.
