5.0 out of 5 stars Compact and to the point.
This is a great tool for the oral boards. I read it three times in preparing. The cases are diverse with a third section which is good more for CAQ than for dx boards. It is chock full of great info and cases. Its also fairly cheap. Well worth the money.

2.0 out of 5 stars error in kindle version
I am reviewing the kindle version of this product. I happen to also own the hard copy version of this book which is phenomenal and a must have. I purchased the kindle version of the book, which looks great at first but has one very simple but catastrophic error. --The answers for the cases precede the case images and case questions! 5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT! GREAT!, March 21, 2000
By A Customer
A must have, can't do without! Well written, concise reviews of 200 different cases of central nervous system pathology. Images are top notch, discussions excellent and complete, questions for self-testing well thought out. Can't beat the price either!

5.0 out of 5 stars It's good., June 8, 2007
I've been looking for such a book both in USA and China for a long time, and now I find it.

It's good for integrating the differentiate diagnosis. However, if there are more new MR techniques (DTI,PWI,etc.), it will be better.

2.0 out of 5 stars error in kindle version, November 23, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am reviewing the kindle version of this product. I happen to also own the hard copy version of this book which is phenomenal and a must have. I purchased the kindle version of the book, which looks great at first but has one very simple but catastrophic error. --The answers for the cases precede the case images and case questions! (You can download the sample before you purchase to confirm this). The whole point of the case review series is to be able to take the cases as unknowns, the answers are revealed after your best efforts at reaching the most likely diagnosis. The reversed arrangement of the kindle version, where you see the answer first defeats that purpose, and makes it unusable. This is not a mistake on Amazon's part, its just how the publishers arranged it. If the arrangement is changed, then this will be an equally phenomenal purchase, in which case I will be first in line to buy it again.

5.0 out of 5 stars The neurology/radiology book to start with residency, July 16, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Brain Imaging: Case Review Series, 2e (Paperback)
The book is organized in a practice booklet way with Q&A's on the next page and the basic most important facts of each condition reviewed and illustrated. Great companion to the Neuroradiology text series "The Requisites". Shows a wide variety of conditions in a condensed book, worth every penny. Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best of the Case Review Series!, January 24, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Brain Imaging: Case Review Series, 2e (Paperback)
This is the best of the Case Review Series. Differentials are provided for most of the cases, which is not typical of other books in the Case Review Series. The discussions are well-written and concise without superfluous information. Image quality is good. Overall, this is a great book for residents and neuroradiology fellows.
