5.0 out of 5 stars Great Converstion Starters, April 18, 2009
This review is from: Brain Quest Grade 3 (Cards)
This and the rest of the series of similar products have been a great way for our clients to pass the time in our waiting room and interact in fun ways. Kids get to find out that their parents know more than what they thought. Kids get to show off what they learned.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff, September 5, 2008
This review is from: Brain Quest Grade 3 (Cards)
It is fun to see my kids take turn to ask questions. I have Brain Quest Grade 3 for my son and his older sister plays game with him by asking the questions. For his turn he asks Brain Quest Grade 5 to his sister or if he can't read some words, simply show the question page to her and they are tracking their scores. I saw the new Brain Quest games on DS and I pre-order them already.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Learning Tool, May 14, 2007
This review is from: Brain Quest Grade 3 (Cards)
We keep this product in the car as it makes a good learning tool while traveling from place to place. The questions are age-appropriate and thought provoking. I would recommend this product to anyone who is tired of playing "I Spy"!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great parent-kid share!, December 15, 2011

This is great for 3rd graders to spend time with parents (as quizzers), see how much they know, and learn some new facts, too. Very fun and encourages them to learn more! Good mix of all subjects.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for road trips!, June 24, 2011

I purchased this for long car trips, because I can remember using and loving Brain Quest when I was a kid. The package comes with two decks and each deck's cards are attached at the bottom corner so that they spin and fan out. I love this feature because you don't ever have to worry about losing the cards. The two decks makes it fun because we can take turns asking eachother questions without having to pass the cards back and forth. Brain quest includes an array of fun and challenging questions in several categories.

I bought this and the Brain Quest Grade 2 for my twin 3rd graders and they really enjoy them! There are a variety of questions from history, science, math, vocabulary, grammar, culture, etc.

The kids really enjoy the challenge and also showing off their knowledge. I knew my daughter would have fun but I have been pleasantly surprised to find my son picking up the books and asking me to ask him questions.

I think these are great and will be purchasing future editions!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great tool...Did they have to make it Pink in color for 8 year olds?, July 25, 2010

This review is from: Brain Quest Grade 3 (Cards)
My children, now ages 8 and 6, really like this series. However, my 8 year boy was hesistant at first to open and look at the grade 3 one because it's colored pink. I certainly realize it's only a color and "real men wear pink" and all that, but don't give a young boy any reason to initially avoid the book.

Great tool for getting your first or second grader ready for the next grade. My son enjoys trying to get as many correct as possible. Questions are age appropriate and interesting to a 7 year old.
