Brain Quest cards,

We love the Brain Quest card sets. We have several sets for our 5 and 3 yr-olds. Their size and the fact that the cards are secured together make them perfect for slipping in a purse or backpack. They have proven invaluable when waiting in restaurants. The only problem we've had is getting the kids to stop playing when the food comes. We've also played so much that they have several of the sets memorized so it would be nice to have more sets within each age group.

These are great stocking stuffers. My daughter received hers the Christmas before she was to start Kindergarten so she could become familiar with the curriculum. These became her favorite flash cards. It also opened doors to teaching things she didn't know like time. Highly recomended

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter, and she LOVES it! (She had the Pre-K version before this and loved it too.) The best benefit is that she is challenged with more difficult questions, but they don't hit the fustration level for her. This set has improved her learning A LOT!

Kids like it, a bit easy for the average kindergartener,

Kids seem to really like this but it seems pretty simple for the average kindergartener. If your child has pretty solid skills, you might want to try a higher level.

My just turned 5 year old son is really enjoying this set! Its great to bring traveling so he has something to do during downtime. Some of the questions he can't answer (counting money) but he doesn't get frustrated because I've explained that this is for 5 & 6 year olds, so when he's 6 he'll be able to answer them :)

We got this for my 4-year-old when the preschool set was getting to easy. She loves to sit with me and be quizzed with these. And they're small enough to throw in my purse and keep her entertained at a restaurant or doctor's office too.

I highly recommend Brain Quest. We now have several sets and I plan on buying additional. Such a fun way for kids to learn. Since they are compact they can go anywhere. We've taken them on car trips, to the doctors office, shopping...just about anywhere. The kids think of it as a game, not as sitting down and learning. This is a great gift for someone as well.

I bought these flashcards for my 4 and 5 year old children. They absolutely love practicing with them! They are very easy to understand and brightly colored to hold little one's attention. A very practical and useful learning tool. I highly recommend this product.

I would like my 4 year old to go through the testing process for independent schools or a Gifted & Talented program, but I am not willing to turn him off to learning or turn myself off to the process by hireing expensive tutors or feeling as if I am constantly grilling him. Brain Quest is a casual, fun way to expose a pre-schooler to the types of questions that he may be asked during the tesing process. Although my son is 4 (and 8 months to be exact), I took the advice of a previous reviewer and ordered the Kindergarten age range and I'm glad that I did... it is a perfect fit. Most of the questions are familiar, but challenging enough that he has to think about some of the things he already knows in a different way. There are also enough questions that he doesn't know, which makes me feel that he is learning something new. I am very pleased with this product.
