Book Description

Brain Quest is beloved by kids, trusted by parents, used and recommended by teachers. It’s the curriculum-based, fast-paced, question-and-answer game that challenges kids on the stuff they need to know, when they need to know it. It’s the brand that says “It’s fun to be smart!” And it delivers.

For the fourth edition every deck is thoroughly revised and includes 20 percent new material. The content aligns with national and state standards and is overseen by the Brain Quest Advisory Board, a panel of award-winning educators, each a recent state teacher-of-the-year award winner or a recipient of the prestigious Milken Educator Award. The covers and cards have a refreshed design, giving Brain Quest a cooler, updated look.

2.0 out of 5 stars Is it really for Kindergarteners? June 24, 2012
Format:Cards|Verified Purchase
For some reason, the decks themselves say ages 4-5, rather than 5-6. Can't figure out why since the box (which was sealed)says Kindergarten 5-6. Content is way too easy for my 5 y.o. Disappointed...

5.0 out of 5 stars BUY ONE LEVEL ABOVE FOR YOUR CHILD May 28, 2013
By Kerry
Format:Cards|Verified Purchase
Reviews of this product are accurate but definitely buy a level above our child's education. The stated age recommendations are just too easy and do not challenge your child. One level above usually mixes tings that they know vs some harder elements that will help them learn.

If you follow that one rule, this is a 5 star product that is fun and is a great educational tool. Its compact size plus genius plastic hinge keeps everything compact and easy to take around.

In the age of portable electronic devices, its nice to see a good old fashioned product like this that can keep the kids entertained just as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Educational tool July 14, 2014
Format:Cards|Verified Purchase
A birthday gift for one of my nieces. She is not yet in Kindergarten, though she is super smart. Her dad (my brother-in-law) spends a lot of time with her going through these questions. She is just now beginning to read, and likes working with her dad both on sounding out the words, and answering the questions. I know that my sister and brother-in-law really appreciate everything that my niece is picking up from these quizzes, and my niece seems to really enjoy going through the book.
