I used to give them as birthday gifts to my high school students and they loved them.

There is no place for the pencil - so, though they are, in fact, brain shaped erasers, they are NOT brain shaped PENCIL TOP erasers.

We've never used them as erasers or pencil toppers, but I can see they would be delightful fun for school children.

We purchased a whole bunch of these brains to help make our games of Zombie Dice more interactive. My husband took a batch to work where his programmers look forward to using the brains during their weekly Zombie Dice challenge after a programming meeting. My kids and I love having the brains to mark our scores rather than just boring hash marks on paper.

We've never used them as erasers or pencil toppers, but I can see they would be delightful fun for school children.

I bought these as souvenirs for an art night where consciousness was the main topic. Boy were they a hit!(P.S. The attendees were adults so I am sure that they would be an even bigger hit with kids). On another note, they are of high quality and quite detailed. I am happy with my purchase and definitely recommend "For Teachers Only" as well as this particular product.

I thought these would be cool markers for games of Zombie Dice (check out TableTop -- season one, episode three -- on Geek & Sundry). I can't rate their usefulness as erasers, but as game pieces, they're perfect. Sure, you don't need them, but when you're having a great round, and they're lined up in front of you, they're the perfect taunting tool against your opponents.

These erasers are cute as gadgets and pencil toppers but everything they touch gets a black smudge on it, even when you are not trying to erase. Buy them to give your stupid friends a brain, but not because they need to erase mistakes.

My son's teacher uses these as rewards for math facts. Kids love them. Great product to donate to a classroom.

The kids were really excited to get these brains for their pencils after a unit on brain science, but were disappointed to realize they don't actually "erase." They look cute and help you remember which pencil is yours, but that's about it.

I was inspired to use these for point markers after seeing the Wil Wheaton episode of 'Tabletop' on YouTube where they played 'Zombie Dice'. So I can't comment on their use as erasers, but they are a good thematic prop for that game. I'd only wished they cleaned the flash of them better after they came out of the molds, they have a lot if excess material on the seama sometimes.

These are very nice brain erasers. I used to give them as birthday gifts to my high school students and they loved them. Now I teach college level anatomy and physiology, and the college students get a big kick out of them.
