This is unmistakably my 15 month old's favorite DVD! Unlike other DVDs (we use those to induce naptime) or cartoons, it holds her attention and keeps her engaged. She claps when she sees the clapping, points/says "nose" when she sees the kids pointing to their nose, and dances around to the music, etc. We travel extensively and this is a "must have" when I pack. Some kids have a favorite stuffed animal - mine loves Bruce Brain! My mommy friends are amazed (and entertained!) how my child reacts when I pop in the DVD. The music is catchy - it won't drive an adult nuts. I highly recommend this product.

We received this DVD as a gift and our kids just love it. They crack up and laugh out loud at some of the funny antics of the puppets, they actually get up and dance when kids are dancing on screen and they request it repeatedly - it's definitely a hit in our home. And I like that it makes our kids think about the sense in a very sub-conscious way - they ask me all the time now about how things taste, or how sounds sound and just are questioning more of the world around them.

and it is the only dvd I can stand to watch over and over with her. we love the music and the cool puppets.

I've searched the stores for some time now for some DVD that doesn't talk down to my tyke or put him to sleep for that matter. I have several videos many Baby Einstein that are so vacuous that when Joshua starts to watch them he just sinks into his seat and i dont think thats a good thing. Hats off to this Braincandy video for giving us stressed out Moms something to feel really good about!

We absolutely love Braincandy and so does our son. He laughs & giggles every time we watch it. He's learned about his senses and had fun along the way. It's also become an automatic gift for friends having babies. It's so hard to find things for kids to watch these days that isn't violent and full of things that make you wonder what they are really taking away. We're just waiting for more in the series... coming soon we hope!

Wow, kids' TV that isn't pedantic, that isn't passive. My daughter LOVE-LOVE-LOVES braincandy. Better still, she participates while watching, miming the kids onscreen and dancing to the great soundtrack.

Can't wait for the rest of the series!

My 12 month old daughter was rapt. The video kept her interest (which is unusual) and she mimiced the kids and the puppets. Plus I like it that she is learning something. Definitely one every parent should try!

Different from a lot of shows out there for children. New, fresh, wonderful teachings of our senses. A must have for your kids' stockings this X-mas. You can't go wrong.

Fun characters, great production, very engaging. My kids LOVE to watch this over and over. Super fun edutainment! Definately on the list to go to all the neices and nephews this Christmas.

Braincandy, My 5 Senses was the first video that my 18 month old didn't walk away from, but walked toward! I love the way he interacted with the children on the video and mimiced what they did. It was great to have an alternative for young children that wasn't about learning ABC's or 123's. I felt like my daughter was really learning about herself and the world.
