Product Description

Meet Jumbline 2, the most addictive word game in the Amazon App Store. Scramble and twist your brain to make words from jumbled lines of letters. Simply rearrange the scrambled letters into words, and underline them with your finger to score points; find and underline the largest word and you advance to the next level.

Play in a relaxing un-timed mode, or put your skills up against the clock in timed rounds.

Jumbline 2 includes two additional games: Cloud Pop and Star Tower. In Cloud Pop, your goal is to pop as many clouds as possible, by spelling words out of the letters carried in each cloud. In Star Tower, your task is to build the tallest tower you can, before it sinks into the ground, by making and staking words out of an infinitely jumbled line of letters. The larger the word, the slower your tower sinks, so scramble and twist your brain to think big!

Jumbline 2 is ideal for fans of Scrabble, Words With Friends, TextTwist. Play with friends and family cooperatively, or fly solo.

5.0 out of 5 stars My A#1 favorite word game! December 22, 2011
Verified Purchase
This is a word game that is very similar to Scrabble, Jumble (the one in the newspaper) and is almost exactly like Text Twist which you can play for free on your computer at Yahoo Games.

In fact, if you really want to know if you'll like it or not, I suggest hopping on over to Yahoo and giving Text Twist a whirl. There are only two glaring difference between this game and Text Twist:

1. In this game, you can rearrange the letters you have already selected and this is not so in Text Twist. You have to remove the letters first and then re-select the letters, which is a serious time waster.

2. In this game you can turn the timer off, and again this is not so in Text Twist. Some may consider it a cheat, but I use it to play when I'm in a doctor's office (or whatever) and sometimes I can't pause it, making me unfairly lose the round. At home on my computer at Yahoo this is a problem if my phone rings. It's the same thing only I DO lose the round because I cannot turn off the timer.

Text Twist has been my favorite word game for many, MANY years. I'd say about 10 years at least, if not more. So when I bought my Kindle Fire, I wanted an app that was similar. This app popped up when I did a search in Amazon Android Apps for Text Twist. I was delighted to find it and it's been fantastic!

Definitely worth it in my opinion. :)

UPDATE: I noticed that another reviewer is claiming that you cannot play it without a wifi connection. This needs addressing here because this is absolutely not true.

You do NOT need wifi to play. I don't know where they got that from, but I play it every single day and most of the time I am not connected.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yeah! October 4, 2012

I used to love playing every word: crossings on my old Kindle. I didn't realise how much, until I found this game. It's fun and addictive!
Also, at the end if the game if there's a word you're not familiar with, tap it and the definition is revealed.
Tun Fun Fun! ;()

5.0 out of 5 stars Longing for Every Word? Try this-I Love It! January 15, 2012
Verified Purchase
Like many other kindle users, was and am hooked on Every Word. Couldn't believe there wasn't something similar for the Fire or that the Every Word folks weren't trying to update? Had played Jumbline on a friend's ipad so entered it into the app store search here on Amazon just for kicks and voila! Granted it's not exactly the same as Every Word, but I'ld put money on you enjoying it just as much. Love to play in Classic Untimed mode and put myself to sleep moving letters around. Great game, give it a try. Bought the paid version cause I like it enough, don't want any distractions - and it's well worth it!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Three Games, One App May 9, 2013
Verified Purchase
If you download the "Jumbline 2," app, you will actually get three different word games in one package, so that makes this app three times as sweet.

One of the things I appreciate about "Jumbline 2" is that you can choose to play against the clock, or set the game to allow you play until you've found all of the words. There are empty cells of different colors for words of each size, and the words are filled in in alphabetical order. If you're stuck, the arrangement helps you to determine the missing word more easily.

In "Cloud Pop," clouds float by with letters in them. When you have rearranged the letters to form a word, the cloud will pop. You are trying to guess the word before the cloud is able to drift all the way off to the left.

In Star Tower, you have to race against the clock, trying to build words with as many of the letters given as you can. If you're able to add a word, the tower will grow, and you'll stay alive. But if you don't think quickly enough, the game ends. The time flies by quickly.

The games are fun, and you can pick the one that suits your current mood and energy level. The colors are nice, the size of the letters is good on my Kindle Fire, the interface is very responsive, and the sounds are not overpowering or distracting.

I downloaded this game as a free app of the day, and I'm glad I took the time to check it out. Sometimes the best things in life are free!

3.0 out of 5 stars Too many foreign words... arrggghhhh!!!!! September 7, 2012

The foreign words expand my vocabulary, perhaps, but I lost the round because I didn't know DAUDS or FEUHN are acceptable words.

2.0 out of 5 stars Advertisments are innappropriate for kids... March 16, 2012
By Tammy
Got this app thinking it would be good for my kids but the ads that pop up are for ADULT SERVICES. Fun and addicting but not for kids unless they get rid of raunchy sex ads.

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't Want Open Feint April 15, 2012

Great game/app EXCEPT I can't figure out how to review my high scores without registering with Open Feint. The game gets THREE STARS unless this one complaint is resolved. Then I'd be happy to rate it FIVE STARS.

Love these types of word games; however, the words repeat quite often. I wish there was an update to keep it interesting.
