4.0 out of 5 stars Very Enjoyable, Hard to Put Down March 9, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
These three novels are very enjoyable reads. The first two are quite original in that they deal with totally paralyzed men. classified as in a permanent vegetative state when their mind is actually undamaged. I found it impossible not to be horrified by their situation and anxious to see them rescued. The third deals with the creation of two "super soldiers" through brain implants with a plot full of treason and betrayals. All three stories have their share of unrealistic moments. You have to be prepared for some "suspension of disbelief." This is worst in "Implant." That is why I gave this collection a four rather than a five. Nonetheless, I found all three hard to put down and enjoyed them very much. Unless you are a hard-core realist, I heartily recommend them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting point of view--Good read March 31, 2013
By SC Girl
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Completely thrilling books, all based on the concept of what would happen if your body was completely and totally paralyzed but your mind was as active and intelligent as ever? Something that I have never thought much about which these books force the reader to confront feelings, (and thrills and chills) through this books. Good read!

4.0 out of 5 stars Triple pack of good reading March 2, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
The subject on the book series is a new refreshing idea that I haven't come across yet. The story moved forward at a good pace and became a real page turner. Only problem I had was the lack of the depth of the main characters did not draw me in as deep as it could have.

3.0 out of 5 stars brainy stuff March 27, 2013
By M. Haag
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Having recently seen the movie "the Diving Bell and the Butterfly" ,from a book with the same title, I recognized that this author had used the material in his writing of the first two parts of this thriller package. These stories were woven between the "locked in" syndrome and persons attempting to maintain this prison of the mind for financial gain. The third story employed futuristic sensors being place in the brain of elite combat types to direct their activities. Scary stuff!

2.0 out of 5 stars Read first two books February 19, 2013
By ZanDC
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The first two books of this series held my interest to a high degree and I was expecting more in the third book. I discovered it had none of the characters from the preceding books. It lost my interest real quick.
