Editorial Reviews

Review

"A brilliant and fast fun read that got me to rethink the future." -- Scott Cook, Chairman, Intuit, Inc.

"One of the best ways to think about the future is to pose hard, reasonable questions about what it will be like. That's what has been done for us here, in a lively, interesting and provocative way." -- Donald Kennedy, President Emeritus, Stanford University.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous fun! Really made me think and smile., November 20, 1999

I love this book. What a perfect hostess gift or birthday gift. Talk about spicing up a party. We just had an incredible dinner party based on three questions sent out beforehand. We could not stop talking. Everyone had so much to contribute, especially when we got a little silly. Questions 1000 years out made it "safe" territory to really let our minds run free because no one can be wrong. How we answered them did tell us a lot about how we feel about our lives now.

You single people, this would be a great way to check out dates - zing one of these and see how they handle it. Families and couples, we've grown so much closer by talking about these issues.

What an excellent way to encourage people to think about the next millennium and what they can do to influence it positively - by giving them questions about politics, technology, our planet, and our selves - to ponder. The best book for holiday office presents and any millennium parties. I'm going to give it to my whole family. Check out the web site [online] which let's you contribute your own questions, and even answers! You can join the Brainticklers email list and be informed about other Brainticklers books, and the web site says that they may even include your question in the next book. Cool!
