About the Author
Irene Levitt is one of the foremost experts of handwriting analysis and founder of Handwriting Consultants, LLC. She is a charismatic spaker and consultant to business. Irene advises leaders in law enforcement and government agencies. Her love of studying handwriting analysis led her to a master's degree in graphoanalysis. She has been an instructor in handwriting analysis, at the college level, since 1985. Irene's people skills are legendary. A Music Therapist in Cleveland, Ohio, she worked with children who were emotionally ill. After moving to the Southwest, she becamse a casting director for major motion pictures. Her company, Handwriting Consultants, LLC., provides: forensic document examination; vocational analysis; criminal investigation; jury screening; self-awareness training and personality assessments. Additional publications are: "Brainwriting! for Sales" and "A Key to Your Personality Using Handwriting Analysis". She is a contributing author to "Chocolate for a Woman's Soul" and "Confessions of Shameless Self Promoters".

I was skeptical in reading the Brainwriting book...a friend had given it to me. However, I ran into problems that truly puzzled me with a student at the University where I teach. What the heck, I decided to take a look at the student's handwriting and my new book to see if I could understand the situation a little better. It was all there...this young man's intelligence, sexual confusion, insecurity coupled with a tremendous underlying hostility. I'm a scientist and a definite doubting Thomas! So,I have been testing it out again in working with some of my difficult clients as well. So far, Levitt is on target! Well-written, fun, and filled with excellent,clear and helpful examples.

This book is content-rich with how to's and reinforced with specific application areas. I personally experienced positive outcomes when I used Irene's "t" crossing suggestion for boosting self-esteem. The book is a must read for individuals who want to know more about themselves and others.

I debated between a 3 or 4 star, but decided on 4 because the book is exactly as described, and the title fits. This is not a graphology textbook by any means, but the information is immediately, practically useful. Also I find myself looking at signatures and seeing tendencies in the person I may or may not have known. Interesting.
