5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for Peek-a-boo enthusiasts
My now 20-month-old has loved this video for several months, since he became obsessed with peek-a-boo. It's not non-stop peek-a-boo but enough to satisfy his need. The music and acting is pleasant and realistic, not overly dramatic or annoying for grown ups. It shows scenes of babies and toddlers playing peek-a-boo, parents singing to their kids (e.g., wheels on the...

My now 20-month-old has loved this video for several months, since he became obsessed with peek-a-boo. It's not non-stop peek-a-boo but enough to satisfy his need. The music and acting is pleasant and realistic, not overly dramatic or annoying for grown ups. It shows scenes of babies and toddlers playing peek-a-boo, parents singing to their kids (e.g., wheels on the bus, you are my sunshine, etc.), cartoon segments, and nature scenes (which don't really fit with the theme of games/songs/play but what the heck, my son loves it all).

This is a great DVD product, it does really help a baby to start learning, mine is been learning with the whole brainy baby's collection, I think this could be the best learning DVd's so far! She sings the songs, counts, etc... 5 starts all the way!

We love this DVD in our house. When she's sleepy or even just waking up, she loves to watch this dvd. Its for ages 1 and up but my granddaughter is 7 months old. This dvd really fascinates her though. We started your baby can read with her so this gives her an alternative to watch. Great Great DVD

5.0 out of 5 stars Great alternative to Baby Einstein movies for babies, October 9, 2010

This one is especially cute. We have a few of these videos and both of my sons have enjoyed them. We discovered this series at our local library and I got tired of checking it out every two weeks so we finally bought several of them (different titles). THey also have languages like Spanish and French. :) Good to help calm a sleepy baby who is overly stimulated and can not settle down to rest. We also use it when we need to make dinner and need to keep the baby content for a little bit. It's also fun to watch w/them and play the same game along with the video to help reinforce the fun!

5.0 out of 5 stars What I was looking for, March 26, 2010

I am not a fan of parking a kid in front of the TV. But at 9 months we started introducing some signing videos to our son and we wanted a few other videos that were educational because I had seen other children benefit from the sign language and other educational series. He is 11 months and it keeps his attention. I don't let him watch regular TV but about every other day for 30 minutes he switches between Baby Einstein videos, Signing Videos and These series. This series is by far the best bang for your buck as they aren't as expensive as the baby einstein and in my opinion they are just as good if not better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keeps my daughter's attention!, January 2, 2010
This review is from: Brainy Baby - Peek-A-Boo (DVD)
I don't know what it is about this dvd, but my 9 month old daughter loves it! She pays attention the whole time. I think it is because this dvd shows a lot of pictures of baby's faces. I have tried other Brainy Baby dvds and they do not keep her attention like this one. My 3 year old even likes to watch this one. Good buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars My two toddlers are addicted to this video!, July 24, 2009

This review is from: Brainy Baby - Peek-A-Boo (DVD)
My two toddlers (almost 3) and 20 months LOVE these Brainy Baby videos. They never liked the Baby Einstein series, but these ones hold their interest for hours--- if I would let them, that is! The show is a wonderful length-- 45 minutes, I think, and features lots of different toys, babies and toddlers playing "peek a boo" using the toys or objects. Full of smiles and surprises! Narrated by a woman's voice who is easy to understand and has lots of energy in her voice.

Do not purchase this DVD. My son look at me as if he were saying... are you kidding, I'm not looking at the garbage. This DVD was soooo boring.
