Fantastic Traditional Music, January 8, 2012

This is one of my favorite CDs of Irish traditional music. These two brothers really capture the drive of the dance beat at the heart of the tunes. I got it for the concertina playing by one of the masters of that instrument, but I fell in love with Jack's flute playing as well. It's so distinctive I can recognize his playing when I hear it on CDs featuring multiple musicians -- and I don't have the most percepive ear around.
