i am really happy with this cage, and for the money, you'll be hardpressed to find a better quality one for less. minor complaints: the cage arrives like an unfolded chinese takeout container, which you then have to assemble by "folding" it into place, and there are no directions on how to do this! i'm pretty savvy at assembling things without directions (my entire apt is furnished with IKEA furniture, and not once have i had to glance at the assembly inserts), but this one had me confused for a while before my boyfriend figured it out (the one mystery panel that had me confused was only about 1.5" from a parallel panel--it's difficult to explain, but you'll understand what i mean when you get it--but it and the parallel panel are supposed to sandwich the collection tray that goes on the bottom of the cage). also, the front panel doesn't click super-securely into place. other than that, i'm really happy with the cage, and more importantly, my birds love it. super fast shipping by fedex, too.

Solid, good design, easy to clean, looks fine! Bird likes it, so do we.

These cages are great for pet ringneck doves. I own a silky orange pied ringneck who likes to spend 90% of his time on the bottom of the cage (as do all doves). I need a cage that has more width than height - this cage works perfectly. It was recommended by a dove breeder, keeper, and enthusiast. The cage is modestly priced so do not expect contstruction suitable for anything more than a dove or small bird. In my opinion, a tropical bird (like cockatiel) would destroy this cage in a relatively short amount of time. The assembly was quick and easy. **1/13/09 When I originally purchased this cage the price was quite reasonable at under $40. I do not believe the cage to be worth the current asking price of $90.00! The construction is not highly durable.

I bought this cage for my two doves and it is working very well. It does take a little work putting it together, I had to play with the alignment of the bottom tray a little until it was all even.

The bars at the bottom are a bit too close together, the dove poop tends to get stuck on top (eww) but otherwise it's a great cage.

I purchased one of these cages to re-locate one of my rescue birds (Buzz the sparrow) into a smaller cage. He adapted within a day, and has plenty of room to move around.
The cage was very easy to set up (5 minutes) and very easy to move around for cleaning. The size is perfect and price was great too. :)

Easy to assemble, but it also helps to bend the hooks closed once it's together. Great quality for the price. Probably purchase a few more.

Bought this cage for a cockatiel (fine for him--probably not for larger billed bird) Wanted a fairly large cage but due to room size and furniture constraints could not get a free standing or other "tall" cage. This fits perfectly on old wooden chest. Looked at a number of cages before purchasing this one. Price/value excellent. Was not nearly as difficult to put together as another review implied (5-10 minutes with a bit of common sense and looking at a picture). Like the large center door opening-if raised fully, can stay "propped" open-helps a lot with coaxing out my somewhat shy bird- also helps if putting a large item into cage (like my boy's bird bath)--Large door has a smaller inset door-if you just need a small opening to put in a treat and minimize opportunity to "sneak out", Lower feeders help minimize mess from seed "scatterers". Bottom drawer slides in/out easily for cleanning. While probably most ideal for ground lovers--my cockatiel very happy in it.

perfect size for parakeets to spread their wings, easy to put together, no matter what you hear, just unfold it! and all around good buy.

Under very rare circumstances do I ever rate anything at the top. I will say that I am very pleased with my purchase though.
What I had done was order three cages (really easy to set up, Chinese take-out box was a good analogy), partially disassembled them, and then rearrange them to make one very large cage. Simple enough to do, but I did go through a lot of zip ties. lol
With the remainder I was then able to build another, smaller cage, should I need to separate any of the birds for any reason. You have to do some light metal bending and get a bit creative with the door.
Like I said earlier, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I hadn't been able to find a better price anywhere, one cage alone is fairly good sized and everything came in good condition.

Cage is spacious and good for my 6 finches. But it was hard to put together, came with a broken feed dish (which I replaced), has a flimsy bottom making it hard to pull out bottom tray and reinsert it when cleaning, and not real sturdily built. I do like the large middle door.
