I purchased this sim card for use while in the US. Easy activation online with choice of area code. I would definitely recommend use of this sim card over the prepaid phones if you have a cell available. Multiple choices for plans with AT&T gophone. Data plans available as well. Would purchase again from seller.

I received this item in about a week. If you're in a tight budget or simply need another sim card replacement, this prepaid sim card will do it. Works on unlocked cell phones. I have Nokia 5800 Unlocked cellphone and it worked perfectly with no problems or issues at all. Activation of this sim card is very simple. Just go online and punch in the 15 digit ICCID no# written on the case of the sim card and your phone's IMEI. Put a minimum of $15 and then you can start making calls. Just make sure you choose the right plan that works for you. If you're not satisfied with your plan, you can change it instantly. I highly recommend this prepaid sim card for those who struggling to pay their wireless bill every month and wants to cut back. AT&T also have an unlimited talk and text plan for $60/month.

I used this SIM for unlocking the iPhone which was stuck in Connect to iTunes mode. I just had to insert the sim, and as iTunes to activate it. That's it.
I could have gone with activating it and adding some plan, but dont want to go with AT&T

I spent several frustrating days trying to activate the SIM card online, and using the phone number given on the At&T website. They wanted to know my phone number, which one doesn't know until the SIM card is activated. They also ask you to select the model of your phone from a limited list they give you. My phone was not on that list, so I could go no further in the process. My phone is a Maxwest BB9, an unlocked quad band 2 SIM card phone I want to use overseas. The customer service people do not know how to help if you don't already have AT&T service, or have a phone number.

After reading through lots of reviews for the AT&T SIM activation card on various web sites, I finally found a Direct phone number which works. 1-877-426-0525. Once I found that number, the activation process was simple.

The process is automated, and you need to have the following pieces of information handy. In some cases they use nomenclature that is different, so you need to be able to interpret their request.
1) the 20 digit SIM card number: It is the ICCID number in the Lower Right corner of the SIM card, beginning with 89........
2) they ask for a phone identification number which they say is on the side of the phone. What they want is the IMEI number for the SIM card slot you are activating, which may be anywhere on the phone. Mine was under the battery housing.
3) the payment plan you want to use (The options can be found on the AT&T website under SIM card registration).
4) BE SURE TO ASK THEM TO SET UP A PIN NUMBER SO YOU CAN ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT ONLINE.

The rest of the process is quite simple.

The rating for this product lost a star because I had to search so hard to find the right phone number to set the activation process in motion. It would be very helpful for purchasers if the seller would post the phone number which reaches the part of AT&T that knows how to activate the card.

Worked perfectly for what i needed it for and it shipped fast. Don't activate it inside of any phone, do it online and use all zeros for your IMEI number and you can use it in "any" at&t phone. Thanks!

When trying to use this sim, AT&T's systems
couldn't recognize it. The sim number
"did not exist.". This was a waste of both
time and money.

If there were a "no stars" rating, that's what this
card would get.

I am a international student in the US and have a cellphone is not easy because of the lack of the social security number. This chip allows you to setup an account through the internet really easy and fast with no need of a social security number once your plan is pre paid. Great!

Got in a few days after the due date, used it to activate an iPhone on the pre paid system from ATT.

Fast delivery. I bought sim card to use with unlocked blackberry. Unfortunately, ATT prepaid or gophone service does not provide blackberry services. Everything else works fine.
