I bought this a a replacement for the cables that I lost. Always worked with my Ipod video classic, however, probably won't work with the Ipad, or Ipod touch. As long as a video is in MP3 format, it will play on the Ipod classic. There are programs that people can download that allows them to download Youtube videos, and play them on their PC or Mac, I am pretty sure that they download in an MP3 format. I use it for kitty cat time, cat entertainment.

Beware if you have the Ipod touch. I only get sound..no video....wasted the $5 for the product and shipping...should have known you "get what you pay for"

way better deal than buying the Apple version. The image becomes blurry though if you turn the cord the wrong way. Still worth the price. :)
