Hartford Whalers Theme Song?,

This review is from: Brass Bonanza (Audio CD)
This is a great collection of brass pieces. But the name is confusing...it's the same as the Hartford Whalers theme song. I almost thought it would be on there.

That old time magic,

This review is from: Brass Bonanza (Audio CD)
How wonderful to hear all of these quintets from the old days of analogue recording. There is wonderful and real playing throughout this album. The New York Quintet is fantastic as is the I 5 Quintet (what a stunning version of "Carnival Of Venice" with all of the players getting moments of heroic demonstration ! ). Top rate stuff.
