This is a super movie that has a great plot,great actors
and tons of intrigue.With a cast as terrific as this,I
can't understand why it hasn't made it to dvd.Especially
when some of the worst CR*P in the world is now on dvd.

One of the better what if? movies. By the end of it you are thinking this is what really happened to Patton. As far as I know the disappearence of the Nazi Gold is a mystery that was never solved. and I find it very strange that Patton was the only person injured in the accident that eventually claimed his life. I agree with the previous poster..Bring on the DVD.

This film is a great portrait of an authentic hero of WWII. It is tragic that someone got away with killing one of the best generals we've ever had, not to mention get away with hoards of gold bullion.
This is a riveting, bold, plausable, and moving story. Well worth seeing. Bring on a DVD version!! Better yet, re-investigate the crime.

With all the recent interest in WWII I can't understand why this movie hasn't been redone on DVD. It is the one scenario, in my mind that covers most of the questions.

I agree with the other reviews given about this masterpiece of film, what would make it even better is if they ma
ke in 5.1 Dolby sound because the film requires it to came alive so please bring it back to us.

This VHS film is a fictional account of the death of General George Patton. It is hard-to-find and I'm happy to have it in my VHS library. Seller got it to me safely and quickly.

I have seen this on beta and vhs over the years and now have it on a dvd-r from a vhs copy,and I cannot find the same enthusiasm as other reviewers,sounds a good story and has loads of big name actors in it which should help,but does not,far too slow and much too talkie to grip you and some of the stars are just wasted on small parts,also jumps around too much,and I even have the vinyl lp soundtrack,which also puts you to sleep.If it ever makes it across to dvd or blu ray and in widescreen I may change my mind,but would never be high on my want list.
