Softer than expected, but still great,

The lead singer's definitely looking 'heavier' than he sounds. When I saw his fotograph and read his interview in that magazine I thought he'd make music like the Arctic Monkeys do. But the Ordinary Boys don't, instead they've made what I'd like to call a perfect summer record.
Their music is cheerful and jolly and so British and although sounds of bombastic trumpets may be heard on the record, it fits perfectly in your collection if you're a fan of Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs or the Kooks. Overall it's good an' decent Britpop. |
