This really is one incredible recording. These opera classics are an essential to any collection, and Hickman, Pilafian, and Bacon really shine on this album. Each soloist has an individual sound and technical prowess that blend together nicely.

David Hickman I believe is Americas greatest classical trumpet artists ever and darn close if he isnt. I highly reccomend ANY recordings with David Hickman. He is the only true classical trumpet virtuoso in america today so if you want to hear some really great american virtuoso trumpet playing, David Hickman is the ONLY one.
