My girls are 5 and 8 and they love this. The color comes out good and stays on for the day. It washes out with no problems. I'd buy one for all the little girls you are shopping for.

My 7 year old was thrilled and so were all her friends. It's easy to use, The color pots last longer than I expected. It creates fun color areas, and the color washes out easily.
