Funky design is everywhere, from the sleek silver ring that holds the CD-player buttons to a smooth black handle that lies flat when resting on a dresser. The single-disc player offers great functionality, including intro search, programmable memory, repeat, and random play, while the digital display features track number and elapsed time. To scan the AM/FM tuner for the hippest new hits, pull up the telescopic antenna and spin the side knobs to control volume and station tuning. When the grooving gets out of hand, a 15-second memory buffer keeps the skips from spoiling the dance steps. For even more musical possibilities, an auxiliary input channels portable MP3 devices. While the speakers sound great, for an extra kick hit the Bass Boost button, or plug headphones into the jack on the front and rock to your own beat.
