Bratz World London - Pretty 'N' Punk Cloe

Hi! I have a few things to say about one of the previous reviews. I'm 13 and live in London. Firstly, how can you say this doll is slutty? She cames wearing trousers and has an extra outfit which is a LONG(ish) dress. The fact that she has pale skin does not make her look slutty, i don't see how that works. Her hair is wonderful, its so unique and different, surely you wouldnt want it to look exactly like another Cloe's hair, otherwise there wouldnt be that much point in buying apart from the fasions and makeup. The dog actually isnt that much out of proportion, i think it looks cute and different anyway. Your friend, who lives in London, is being pathetic if she is insulted because of the doll. Its a DOLL, and its not representing any Londoners, its just what Cloe would look like if she chose to follow the punk/rock/goth style.

I have all of the human thinbgs you listed (brain,common sence and a life) and yet, i also have this doll. If you read this i would say not to take "her/his" advise as "she/he" is giving a one sided review.

ONTO THE DOLL

I personally think she is a beautiful doll and a great addition to anyones collection. She is so unique and different compared to any other Cloe. She comes with some very nice clothes aswell, the outfit seen in the photos and a long(ish) denim dress and a leather jacket. Both outfits look great on the doll. Her makeup is very dark against her pale skin so it may not be to everyones favour. I would advise you to buy this doll but if your not into the punk/rock/goth type style then maybe this is not the doll for you (or whomever you are buying it for). if this isnt your thing i would recommend a line such as "sunkissed summer" or "The Funk Out" line. Both also very great lines of dolls.

I personally love this doll and am very thankful of MGA for letting the Bratz visit England, especially London! Good line of dolls! I recommend!

I had recently purchased this toy for my ten year old daughter. My daughter is a huge Bratz fan and collector. As soon as she had seen it at the store, she completely fell in love with it and just loved the punky-preteen style. I agree with my daughter that this is a great toy mostly because of all of the detailed work that the manufacturer put into this doll. The fashions and accessories that come with it represent all of the normal fashion trends that most teens wear today. Although some parents may think that street style fashions and dark makeup aren't good

role models for tweens and teens, they must come to accept what the style is right now. An educational factor also comes into play when it teaches children about different and diverse cultures and what they may wear regularily. It may be a little intimidating, but I as a parent give it two thumbs up!

I think a lot of bratz are pretty but these ones are kind of ugly. I like the clothes but not the doll. I think they should sell clothes seperate so you don't have to get a doll every time. gtg

These dolls are pretty cool, but they should lay off the union jacks, they look like tourists! Otherwise they are really good, the fashions are really cute.

p.s if you dont like myscene dolls, just dont buy them!

This Cloe doll is really nice! Sure, her outfit is punkish, but thats the whole point! I love her darker style make-up. It's really nice, and her hair is awsome, a bright orange, with pale blonde. She also comes with tons of acsessories! Her first outfit, the one she's wearing when she's in the box, is the nicest.

You should really buy this Cloe, as she's so pretty and so punk!

To all you angry people who have written in, stating you are "real" punks...let me break it to you gently.

No. You're not punks. Shopping at Hot Topic doesn't make you a punk. Dressing in plaid and chains doesn't make you a punk. Having dyed or spiked hair does not make you a punk. If you didn't live throughout the 80's, you have no right to call yourself a punk. Being that I'm *over* 30 years old, I experienced the punk generation firsthand-- a genre of music and a way of life.

Your "Good Charlotte" and "Simple Plan" are NOT punk. Neither is your dear AFI. It's pop all the way, baby. Nowadays, "punk" is just a label. People slap this label on their foreheads when they want to walk around in spikes and plaid and look cool. Sorry, babe, get over yourself. The real form of punk is a dead art. To attempt to relive it, turn off that crap you call Good Charlotte, Simple Plan and whatnot, and put on some of the late 70's/80's punk rock like The Clash, The Misfits, The Circle Jerks, The Ramones, Blondie, Richard Hell, etc.

Anyway, to the doll review-- I can't tell whether or not it's promoting the dead art form known as "punk", or just displaying the shallow, mainstream act people LIKE to call "punk". Either way, she's very cute-- whether it's what she's wearing or not. I think it's just the way she looks in general. There's an innocence to it all despite what people say about the "collagen-injection lips" and "huge eyes". It's just the art style-- I doubt the companies intended to make kids want to get plastic surgery (I'm sure there are kids that want to, but that's usually due to a deeper problem, and not just because of these dolls, haha). Obviously, these dolls were intended to have a cartoony look with their big lips and eyes; an almost anime-styled look. Granted, I don't think they're as pretty as the recent Winx Club dolls, but they're close.

why does everyone like barbie?she looks like crap.one time i got her,and when i got her out the box,her head fell off.but enough about barbie,it is almost my birthday and i mIGHT get this cloe.listen parents everywhere,forget what tHESE stupid customers are saying this is a fact..........GET THIS CLOE!

She is amazing and her clothes are awesome. I'm not into the punk thing but she is not really that punk so she's amazing!!!! Awesome hair, nice clothes and she is not scary so she's amazing and I lover her. I can't wait to get her.

my neice loves these toys. but the "punk" dolls need some desperate help. the clothes aren't bad but the makeup needs a little something. it'd also be interesting if you could come out with "goth" bratz, adults would probably get those for collections and the like. but anywhoo, the dolls do seem a tad on the "raunchy" side. not something i'd like to see a kid grow up to be, same goes with barbie. but at least the punk dolls are a step in the creative direction, stepping away from ghetto redundancy and snootiness.
