My husband has used the throw away razors for years. I decided to buy him the Braun for Christmas to see how he would like going to electric. He loves it, and says that it shaves close, smooth, and is a lot more convieniant to use then messy throw aways :-)

used a rotary razor for yrs & yrs & went back to a blade when i stopped shaving every day & the rotary did not handle 2 day growth well. after 3 yrs, got tired of the blade ritual & sprung for a Braun based on consumer reviews. have used it for a couple of weeks now & am duly impressed ! it hacks thru 2 days of growth just fine. the shave is very close (so 2 speak) to that of a blade w/ much less fuss. it cleans just fine all by itself in seconds so no need for the other model's fancy cleaning setup. works for me :)

The electric razor was packaged in a box about 12x12x12 with one sheet of bubble rap and most of the bubbles were broken, this product could have easily been damaged upon shipping. Also the razor was advertised as new but when I got it the back was cut open. Would not do business with this seller again.
