I got this as a replacement for the one that broke as this part has extremely flimsy tabs that hold the basket in place. I'm very disappointed that Braun's expensive product is no longer very durable!

We've had the Braun coffeemaker for five years now and it is the simplest, most foolproof coffeemaker we've ever had. No bells or whistles, timers, grinders, etc. to help screw things up. Put your grinds in, fill it with water and push the big red "ON" button.

Only problem is the plastic tabs that are used to hang the filter basket tend to break. Almost went to buy a new one (they don't make this model anymore though) until I found this replacement basket online. Hope to have five more years of use in our favorite coffeemaker!

I ordered one of these and it arrived damaged. Buy-it-Now provided excellent service, immediately Fed-Ex'ing me a new one. The product itself is definitely fragile if dropped or bumped too hard, but we love the coffee makers-so it's a must.

All I can say is original new product fast service, shipping and good price. Did not want to lose the best coffee maker I've ever owned, just because I dropped the basket.

OK, so this is the 3rd filter basket we have gone through. Keep replacing it because its cheaper than buying a new coffee machine. We love the coffee machine as its metal and doesn't have a glass liner (my husband is notorious for breaking coffee pots). But, the plastic clips that holds the basket onto the coffee maker keep breaking. The original basket lasted the longest - but I've been through 2 more replacements. We've had this pot over 5 years - but the last basket lasted only 6 months!
